A Poetics of Death and the Search of Eternity | 2012 - 2015

This body of work examines eternity not as a metaphysical horizon, but as a form of material and cognitive resistance to disappearance. Drawing on imagery associated with omens and premonitions, the works analyse the systems through which humans attempt to anticipate, interpret, and regulate uncertainty. These visual languages reveal how the fear of emptiness gives rise to narratives of foresight and warning, and how such projections reorganize our relationship to time, matter, and our vulnerability to the unknown.
