    STANDARDS | 2018 - 2019

Standards is a variable brick installation and a video made in 2018. https://vimeo.com/296275047 Winner of DECODE 'promissing project prize' in 2018. Exhibited at Faur Zsófi Gallery, Budapest. and winner of the Derkovits Award in 2019 exhibited at the Kunsthalle Budapest. I consider bricks as a starting point in human civilisation since this common object defined our man-made environment thousands of years ago. At first I used bricks as a linguistic metaphor, and I staged them in my video performances to illustrate my stories. Recently I started to create bricks from different materials that are signed by words reflecting both to their composition and human traits. My idea is to symbolise the elements of personalities and the burdens of repetitive patterns.
