  • As an artist who has also studied science and engineering, I attempt to look at the world in a complex way. Like the person meditating on life, I like to reflect on eternal and current questions.

  • Wood, My original work is FUN, was made in year 1999. This artwork consists 2 of FUN-s.
  • One side of the hollow cubes consists of woven strips just as in a fan. By twisting them with respect to one another gracefully curving surfaces, sine and parabolic curves can be formed.
  • Folding out of every second element a broken through surface is formed, as a result of which interesting light effects are formed. It is also possible to view in practice the single-sided space-surface.

  • If with the help of the spiral stairs formed by the fan we easily slide up from the internal lower surface of the cube to the upper side of the cube. This is why there is no point talking about separate internal and external surfaces.
