ARTIST STATEMENT

    …I believe in viewing things from multiple aspects

A drop of water creates waves when falling into the water, snails build sprial houses, things go through transformation as a result of internal or external motivation. We, humans like to contemplate over such phenomenons and juxtapose it with our existing knowledge. Some of us mull over ideas with philosophy, others look for rational exploration or simply just enjoy the beauty of recognizing, the rhythm of motor movements. The meditative approach to objects and events elevate us from our daily lives.

My kinetic works, which can also be understood as models, invite us to explore and reevaluate them. Whoever gets in touch with them is not limited to obey prewritten rules…
