The installation entitled Memento, is an object-based work of an altar-like concrete structure with a symbolic plant in the center and a real-time video that is the visualization of an online counter displaying the volume of deforestation. Every stripe in the video represents a digit from the number of destroyed trees. The position of each stripe represents its decimal place and the shade represents its value, from 0 to 9. White means zero, black means nine.
