  The Surface | 2015

This work was based on a rigorous observation of landscape and marking different structures and surfaces found in it. An important part of the work were also the sounds I recorded during the proces. They became a part of the work and inspired me as well. I wondered how to substitute the footmarks and traces in the landscape the most authentically. In the end I poured five litres of white paint on a blue carpet and I smeared the paint all over it. Using children toys (a little tractor, Barbie doll and a plastic horse) I created marks in the dense layer to create an illusion of a winter landscape.
