Looking into windows, I collect moments in the lives of the city´s apartment buildings. I trace over the photos, frame them and return them back as gifts. I take the photographs on whitch the drawing are based in places where they could be taken by any ordinary passer-by. It is important not to overstep the boundaries of intimacy and privacy, as this could elicit apprehensions in the subjects, making them feel threatened and stalked. Even so, it can lead to images that have ambiguous meanings. In such cases, we can only reassure ourselves that a window simply doesn´t represent, or contain, reality. Rather it frames our point of view in which the world is a space of discontinuous visibility. I tried to maintain a clean topology of window frames. Each of the four traced photographs represents a different theme: intimate moment; composion; an inappropriate gesture; a gesture that that exudes peace and calm.
