    Remettre en forme | 2016

Remettre en Forme has been made in Marseille, and extends the idea of boundaries to depict time, reflecting upon the different sense of time and the otherness of the place that perceived during the stay. Remettre en forme is a French expression, which means that a person tries to be fit, so starts doing some sport and eating healthy food. In this video, it has a wider meaning. I focused on everyday actions like communicating, travelling, washing or hiking in a new environment. These actions help us to arrange our days and give us the illusion of being at home. After a while, these everyday moments mix with the memories of special events. Our memories aren’t fix, they’re changing due to the photos have been taken, influenced by what we’ve read or seen before and after the event. In this video, I reflect this problematic operation of our overloaded memory in an image dominated world.
