    GRADUATION SHOW 'PERSPECTIVES' | 2017

‘grief is absurd’ (2017) is an immersive multimedia installation that offers an entry into a world that is falsified and a distorted reality. It questions how much a child can fully comprehend life and death and searches for answers about existence. The works introduce a sense that time is a fictional place where theatrical, mysterious and autobiographic images merge together and playfully interact amongst the space. In an effort to accent the absence of the ‘real’ living human, a puppet cast is shown in surreal films and intend to expose the nuclear family. Together with objects such as suspended fabric and domestic items they represent a paradox between lonely and chaos, symbolizing dreams and memories.
