It also works with many major festivals including Dublin Fringe Festival, Dublin Theatre Festival and Dublin Dance Festival among others. PAC has always been synonymous with innovation and remains at the cutting edge of art in Ireland. For nearly five decades it has been at the forefront of contemporary artistic practice in Dublin and has been dedicated to enabling artists to create work of high quality and ambition, cultivating an atmosphere of adventure and creative enquiry. Its mission is to present contemporary art, and key to this we work to encourage and facilitate new audiences to engage with the work, generating informed and critical debate about the work of artists and contemporary society. PAC enables artists to produce work that engages formally and conceptually with contemporary experience, speaking to our current and future audiences. It has launched the careers of and exhibited the work of internationally renowned artists. Project Arts Centre gallery space is located on the ground floor of our highly visible city centre building and features between 5-6 exhibitions per year. The programme itself is intentionally diverse in its approach to contemporary art and both produces, presents and hosts exhibitions and events. http://projectartscentre.ie
