  Exhalation/ Kilégzés ( Lilla Görözdi, Rita Görözdi) | 2016

The "Exhalation" was a group exhibition of Lilla and Rita Görözdi. In this exhibition we concentrated our twin contact, and the works showed our affair with this status between us. The works show differences and symmetries - assymmetries, and reflections. SYMMETRY - ASYMMETRY -project description- Lilla Görözdi and Rita Görözdi 2016 The actuality of our joint project the jubilee in 2016, which is the 110th anniversary of Vasarely’s birth, as well as Victor Vasarely founded his museum in Pécs 40 years ago. So, this year is a jubilee of two events which are closely connect to Victor Vasarely and to the both city, Aix- en- Provence and Pécs. We think that, really important to create a taut cultural twinning between the two city, and thereby more more people know his works, his philosophy and spirituality. Our opinion about the city’s twinning and our twinning to this could give us a great possibility to realize an exciting project. Two city with similar location inside their own state border with similar cultural past and present and two person th similar apitudes but different personality. Both of us we could spend longer period in Aix- en- Provence and we could do our studies and our art works there with a scholarship. These times gave us many new inspiration and new view points to our works. We got a chance for the next semester to return back to Aix- en- Provence after our diplome with a practical and professional scholarship to create a joint project, and in this case our University in Pécs also support us. We would like to build our project for the concept of symmetry and asymmetry to reflect to the parallels between us and between the two cities and Victor Vasarely. Now, before this project we will have a joint exhibition together with a similar conception with our twinning in Pécs on 19th of April, and this could works like a prelude before the project in Aix- en – Provence. We could further consideration, and continue this project with the new inspirations in Aix, and to present our project which focus on symmetry and asymmetry. We hope that because of this jubilee could formed and develop a deep cultural relationship between Pécs and Aix.
