Program The Landscape does not show depict any realistic existing landscape. More over it is a picture of a fictional countryside, outlined in a schematic way. It is A slow floating picture with gently generated curves of horizon, slowly moving and thus creating an illusion of a floating landscape. The curves of horizon are gently generated and changing step by step so we can see further. The Landscape might be almost considered as a still picture in our rush age. Its ambition is nothing and everything in the same time. Untouchable distance, unreachable horizon and a space without any history. Only memory of a viewer is present in the scenery. The temp speed of time matters. The Landscape can not be any slowlier or faster. It continues for 24 hours. The cycle of blending brightness and darkness conforms to a cycle of dusk and dawn. The program not only generates reflections of daily rhythm, but also its abnormalities. A single viewer will never compass the whole program because as it is beyond his anyone's abilities. The Arctic Landscape in the Czech Republic is a program was made in application Processing. Using Processing I an unlimited application that generates and respects daily rhythm of the 50º S parallel where the Czech Republic is situated was made. Marginal levels of days and nights are defined by the beginning and the end of civilian calendar.
