  LOST IN THE WOODS | 2015

In the project LOST IN THE WOODS I place myself as a gnome or magical beeing in constructed landscapes with kitschy elements of fairytales, consumerism and social networks. The work deals with the topic of escapism and the relationship between real and constructed world. In today’s society one can not avoid being part of consumerist culture and social networks. With their persuation one can easily be lost in this world or “wood” of artificial, digital and pop elements. The project is adopting fairytale iconography and transforms it. The project is finalized in medium of digital print, artist book, video (animation) and performance.
