V sérii troch malieb "This is the End", "FC Roswell" and "Cross the Road" (všetky 2011), sa venujem konceptu formálneho obmedzenia, no zároveň sa snažím o preskúmanie možností maľby ako výtvarného prostriedku sebavyjadrenia. Posunom od 2D efektu malieb smerom do priestoru vytváram trojrozmerné priestorové objekty, ktoré sú vtipným a ironickým vykreslením súčasnej globalizovanej spoločnosti. Čo sa týka stratégii a metód tvorby, je táto séria v istom zmysle pokračovaním mojej diplomovej práce Zátišie, akryl na plátne (2007). Avšak na rozdiel od Zátišia, táto trojica výtvarných objektov nevznikla pridávaním a vrstvením jednotlivých prvkov, no preniká pod povrch viac do hĺbky. Jedná sa o archeologické preskúmanie samotných útrob objektov. Všetky maľby vznikli približne v rovnakom čase, a po formálnej stránke sú prepojené, čo sa však týka tvorivého prístupu a spôsobu práce, sú to samostatné diela, napriek tomu, že sú súčasťou série. --------------In a series of three paintings, "This is the End", "FC Roswell" and "Cross the Road" (all 2011), I investigate formal limits, but also an openness of the medium of painting. Escaping from 2D character of painting into the space I create three-dimensional spatial objects characteristic of witty and ironic references to the contemporary globalized society. In a certain sense, in terms of used strategies and methods, this series follows in the footsteps of my diploma work Still-life, Acrylic on canvas (2007). Unlike Still-life, a triad of paintings-objects is not formed by addition and gathering of layers and elements, but by penetrating into the depth of a surface. It is an archeological survey of the bowels of the image. Although the paintings were created in the same period of time, they are connected by the same formal solution and in terms of a creative approach and working method they were conceived like one series, they are separate, individual works.
