Trojan Horse | 2010
The trojan horse contains an intruder. In this case, it is a performance artist. The action can be watched through the horse’s anus (a projector lens) or on a video screen, as a live projection. The horse is a sculpture, created as a vehicle for any kind of one or two man performance which is supposed to happen inside - a long-term performance (one or two days non-stop) in the best case. The picture refers to the performance “I Trust You“ by Greek artist Evangelia Basdeki. She sewed a Mickey Mouse head on the bottom of her foot during several hours. She was sitting inside the horse, until her action was finished.
