"Man follows the earth, The earth follows heaven, Heaven follows The Way. The Way follows its own Nature." (Lao-ce: The Book of the Way and Virtue; chapter 25, from Benjamin Hoff: The Ethernal Tao Te Ching) This series of paintings follows the "self-determination" of the road, observing and following its lines and drawings from above. In her ink drawings, selected junctions of the Budapest-Vienna motorway greet us in the form of light, dynamic line drawings. Planned junctions, loops and crossings, picturesque and graphic patterns of junctions are refined into elegant models of directional change.
