As if the figures seen strolling among the serially-made furniture were generic avatars form promotion flyers for new condos and designer interiors. Their age and proportions however lead us to assume that they have strayed here from elsewhere and that this environment is foreign to them. What was that? It is uncertain whether they are moving faster, or whether everything is rather slowing down. The staging of their gait, the turn of their torso, the hand motions while touching doors and windows, these are sets of techniques which are merely becoming adapted to the new conditions (circumstances). They remain in a type of sterile timeless limbo, surrounded by prefabricated objects whose varied anonymity we share in. The scene creates a feeling of an almost virtual interface in material conditions. In fact, we are rather participants of the separation between the virtual and material, witnesses of their merging - synthesis. The tables here have identical growth rings. Plastic is an inedible fruit and the human an object.
