This project is about the image of the human body and our identification with it. The works presented move around the medical, tecnological and artistic fields. Has a medical image esthetic elements? Can technological bugs be taken as a creative process? How do we recognize our body through its image? As technological bugs in medical images corrupt its scientific purposes, it delivers esthetic posibilities to the image in its representation and also the comprehension that a medical image is that: an image and not a body. The project is concieved trying to determined the (non)existing frontiers of the representation of the human body as scientific data, image creation and reality aproximation.
