ARTIST STATEMENT

The image itself is my medium of work. I'm interested in the limits an image can be contained in (esthetic, scientific, biologic, representative) and its effect toward us, as viewers and creators. I also find the means of communication between a work of art and a viewer (the sense of sight, the reflection of light, effects of perception and psycology) as a sustancial part of the work.

2007 – 2013 // Studies painting in the Arts Faculty, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. PUCP.
2009 //  Adolfo Winternitz Prize, given by the Arts Faculty PUCP.
2011 – 2012 // 6 month student exchange program in Universitat de Barcelona. Barcelona, Spain.
2013 // Critic's Prize Honourable Mention.
2014 // Asists to "Escuela de soluciones al paso" ("School of inmediate solutions") workshop.
