ARTIST STATEMENT

In the recent years I used most of the times mosquito net for my installations. This gives the objects a strong picturesque, ethereal impression, creates a contrast between transparency and stratification, materiality and immateriality.

My works are object transformations. I cut them, truncate them and and complete them again.

The additions I create refer to the missing parts or make an unnescessary surplus. The truncations and additions deprive  the objects from their original functions, question their symbolic meaning, put them into a new context and personalize them.
