transform

transform | is an exhibition project and equally intensive exchange project with students and graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts (FaVU) Brno and the Academy of Visual Arts (HGB).

Positions of the Painting class with cross-media alignment (Prof. Meller, HGB) complete, transform and perhaps irritate themselves with positions of different classes of the Art Academy in Brno. In particular, Painting collaborate with Body Art, Installation, Land Art and Sculpture in cultivating a dialog.

In close cooperation with the participating artists of both art schools, independent artistic positions are deliberately in relation to each other. In doing so, they change and expand the perspective of the recipient as well as of the subject and transform genre affiliation, content and perception.

The shown works deal with the theme of transformation in a variety of ways: from picture stories, images (impressions), materials, spaces, memories, physicalities or passions.
