ARTIST STATEMENT

Umenie outsiderov – tak Kasha volá svoju tvorbu. Autorka ide proti zakorenený pravidiel a stanovených noriem. Jej práce majú veľkú vybrujucú silu, obrovskú energiu, žiarlivosť farieb. Divák z prvého pohľadu nevie rozpoznať čo je zobrazene v kresbe a to je jej spôsob upútať pozornosť ku svojmu umeniu. Autorka stále sa hľadá v svojej tvorbe, experimentuje nad farbou, textúrou a formou. Kasha sústredená na aktuálnych emóciách a citoch, preto jej tvorba natoľko expressivná.

Art of outsiders – that´s how  Kasha calls her creation. The author goes against the used rules and norms of classical society. Her drawings have vibration power, strong energy and brightness of colors. The viewer at first sight can't identify what is represented on the drawing and that´s her method how to catch attention of viewers to her art. The author is still trying to find herself in the drawings, she´s stilll experimenting with the texture, colors and a form. Kasha is concentrated on momental emotions and feelings, and that´s why are her works so expressive

BIOGRAPHY

Sasha Potrohosh prvý krát sa uzrela svetlo sveta v Užhorode, v Ukrajine. V obyčajnej škole, kde Sasha strávila zatiaľ polku života, sa začali prvé neurčité kroky k umeniu, a taktiež rozumné rozhodnutie rodičov dať dieťa na výtvarné a múzické krúžky. Puberta, anime a dievčenské ambície ovplyvnili Sashu, k rozhodnutiu pokračovať ďalej v maľovaní. Pod vedením detského pedagóga Sydoruka, uskutočnila prvé pokusy s olejomaľbou a kresbou. Po tom bola študentkou Zakarpatského umeleckého inštitútu, na odbore keramiky. Kde veľmi správne pochopila, že umenie je život a ekonómom už Sasha určite nebude. Po roku šťastného a veselého študentského života na vysokej škole, musela bohužiaľ štúdium ukončiť- Sasha sa musela presťahovať na Slovensko. Skostnatené prístupy ukrajinského maliarskeho akademizmusu sa rýchlo rozplynuli a prišiel čas avantgárd. Sasha sa stala Kashou. Šialenstvo farieb, život bez pedagógov a rodičov, inšpirácia nového sveta doladila štýl na novú úroveň. Momentálne sa Kasha zaoberá chápaniu súčasnej knižnej ilustrácie, metamodernizmusu a performance.

 

 

Sasha Potrohosh saw the light of this wold for the first time at Uzhhorod, Ukraine. At regular school, where Sasha spent a half of her life, began the first uncertain steps to the direction of art, and also the wise decision of parents to send the child to graphic and musical lessons. Puberty, anime and young ambitions of Sasha lead her to the decision on further continuing to paint. Under the leadership of her teacher Sidoruk, there were first experiences in oil painting and graphics. After that, Sasha studied year at the Transcarpathian Art Institute, department of ceramics where she very well understood that art is life and of course Sasha won't become economist. After happy and cheerful student's life at university, Sasha, unfortunately, had to leave institute - and to move to Slovakia. Rules of the Ukrainian traditional painting and academism quickly disappeared, and came time of avantguard . Sasha became Kasha. Madness of color, life without teachers and parents, inspiration of new world graphic style move Kasha on the new level. Now Kasha is interesed in non-commercial book illustrations, a metamodernism and performance.
