I seek new ways to challenge our perception of the human body, integrating various art forms such as performance, video, sculpture, and installation. My performances are journeys that discover hidden and unknown layers inside the body that are thought to be repulsive. I work from these suppressed places, and seek to transform them into agents of new possibilities. My aim is to reveal how we perceive ourselves in different contexts, personal and cultural. My sculptures and costumes are made out of combinations between ready-mades and organic materials. I assemble materials such as industrial waste, plastic toys, latex, silicone, and fabrics. Some of the organic materials are bones, which I find in areas where religious ceremonies of animal sacrifice took place, while others are tree stumps found in the Dead Sea, which is known for its extreme and unusual nature.
