ARTIST STATEMENT

I would say that my work dialogue between painting, drawing and installation. The idea of loss, repetition and synthesis as well as the serial work and the concept of the picture within the picture have been recurring themes in my work, in turn giving great importance to the manual and gestural factor and the precarious solutions. Also, my interest has to do with the phenomenon of visual perception and paradoxical problem of how to translate that through the proper construction of images, an issue that has led to occasionally distort its principles.
