ARTIST STATEMENT

Milan má „neo-pop-renesančného“, všestranne orientovaného ducha. Je umelcom, objaviteľom, básnikom, teoretikom, skladateľom aj pedagógom. Je členom Spišského literárneho klubu a držiteľom niekoľkých ocenení
v oblasti literatúry. Vo svojej tvorbe rád experimentuje a pracuje nielen s obrazom, ale aj so zvukom a slovom. Diela sú o zdieľaní pocitov a reakciou na vizuálnu komunikáciu prostredníctvom sociálnej siete. Skúma súčasné správanie sa, hodnoty a priority konkrétnych či anonymných jedincov. V jeho tvorbe nie je cítiť negatívny vzťah k dnešnej dobe, či jej kritické hodnotenie. Ide skôr o konštatovanie a vytváranie si vzťahu k súčasnému životnému štýlu prostredníctvom citlivého zobrazovania všeobecne známych okamihov z každodenného života. Ladyka má zmysel pre vystihnutie podstaty pomocou štylizácie a výtvarnej skratky. Nechýba mu cit pre zachytenie atmosféry a nálad. Jeho obrázky sú zachytávaním okamihu. Akoby vznikali stlačením spúšte na fotoaparáte. Tváre jeho hlavných hrdinov sú bez charakteristických čŕt, postavy sú bez identity, čím dáva autor divákovi možnosť aktívne sa zúčastniť na dotváraní príbehov.
Milanov prejav je otvorený a jeho charakteristickou črtou je využívanie princípov koláže a „mnohopohľadovosť“. Podobne, ako analytický kubista, rozoberá problémy, ktoré spracováva, z viacerých uhlov pohľadu. Narozdiel od kubistov však jeho predmetom záujmu nie je analýza viditeľnej podstaty vecí a osôb (stoly, hudobné nástroje, fľaše, fajky, noviny,...). Zameriava sa na neviditeľný svet pocitov, intimity a ľudského správania sa. Obsah sa v jeho podaní stáva nejednoznačným, mnohovýznamovým a zdá sa, akoby bol vyslovene závislý na individuálnom vnímaní každého diváka.

 Vše se děje bez kresebných příprav, s „lehkovážnou pečlivostí“ a v dynamickém procesu vrstvení, kde hraje důležitou roli malířská vztahovost, grafická stylizace, interakce a princip náhody. Nejde o mechanické reprodukování, ale o volnou bytostně výtvarnou interpretaci fotografických předloh virtuální povahy, jejich toužebnou a nevratnou materializaci. Mají schopnost probouzet utahaného diváka z apatie svojí líbeznou předmětností a současně jej přimět k zamyšlení nad fotografií jako takovou, nad majestátem i fetišismem nejvíce automatického média. Vzrušuje ho možnost redukování popisu až na hranici abstrakce. Láká jej zběsilost množení, rytmizace a monotónnost tematických celků. V neposlední řadě využívá skvělou příležitost nepřímého poděkování pánům Matissovi či Warholovi za jejich inspirativní práci.

 Milan has a “neo-pop-renaissance“all – embracing spirit.  He is not only a universal artist, but also a poet, discoverer, theoretician, composer and teacher.  As a member of The Spiš Literary Club, he has been awarded on several occasions in the field of literature.  His works of art are full of experimentation, combining visual art with sound and words.  Reacting to visual communication through the medium of social networks, this exhibition explores the ability to share feelings. It examines the existing models of behaviour, values and priorities of concrete as well as anonymous individuals. His works do not aim to express any negative views on the contemporary society. They are not judgemental, but rather state the facts and seek to embrace the current lifestyle via the sensitive visualisation of familiar images from the everyday life. Ladyka has a capability to depict the essence of reality using the stylization and the “artistic abbreviation”. Being receptive to the atmosphere and moods, his works capture the moment, as if they were created by pushing the button on a camera. The fact that faces of his protagonists are depicted without characteristic features, and characters without identity, enables a beholder to take an active part in recreating the stories.

 Milan´s expression is open and sincere. His characteristic feature is the application of collage and the “multi-viewpoint” approach. Similarly to an analytic cubist, he decomposes problems and treats them from multiply vantage points. However, unlike the cubists his main interest is not the analysis of the visible essence of depicted items and characters (such as musical instruments, bottles, tobacco-pipes, newspapers, etc....), but rather the invisible realm of intimacy and human behaviour.  The subject matter becomes somewhat vague and ambiguous, as if it was intentionally created to be dependent on the individual perception of every beholder.

 Everything is made with carefree consistency, with no sketching preparation used and in dynamic process of layering, where relationity of the author, graphic stylization, interaction and the principle of randomness are important factors. It is not mechanical reproduction of an object, but free, artistic interpretation of photographic model which comes from virtual environment. The work is about a wishful and irreclaimable materialization. It has got an ability to wake up a tired spectator from his apathy trough its lovely, soft look and motivates to think about the majestic and fetishistic nature of the most popular medium - photography. The author is excited with an option of reducing the motive till the edge of abstraction. He is attracted to wildly multiplication, rhythmic and monotony of thematic entities. The work might be considered also as an indirect appreciation of authors like Matiss or Warhol for their inspirational works.
