ARTIST STATEMENT

At the heart of my interests lie conceptual considerations of liquid modernity, references to the past and forecasts for the future. I employ various media for the purpose, depending on the subject raised: video, installation, animation, and photography; attempt to simulate the reality which is not yet here, but which is potentially possible. I interpret in my own manner the theory that culture is a creation of nature and as such, it inspires, transforms and enforces its subsequent transformations; analyse approaches and phenomena related to the above-mentioned themes through my own, subjective judgement, and comment on them in my art work.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1986 in Ruda Śląska, Poland. Lives and works in Krakow, PL,
2006 - 2012 studied in the graphics department of Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow, PL.
2010 - 2011 studied at University of the Arts (Class of Christiane Möbus ), Berlin, D.
Her main medium is video, installation, animation and photography.
