ARTIST STATEMENT

Vo svojej doterajšej tvorbe som sa za posledné roky zaoberala verejnými priestoromi (inštitúciami) a ich existenciou ako takou. Postupne posledné roky obraciam svoj záujem na samotné médium fotografie /analógovej aj digitálnej/, experimentujem s ním a hľadám nové formy. Zaoberám sa  konkrétními otázkami vzniku a existencie fotografie v digitálnej dobe (práca RE:Photography, 2014).

Médium fotografie (analógovej) je pre mňa veľmi podstatné, a preto sa v súčasnosti vyjadrujem k otázkam kolektívnej pamäti a hľadám v archívoch konkrétne problémy využitia a zneužitia fotografie (Stasi, Štb, cirkvou). Narábam s nájdenými informáciami z denníkov a archívov, navštevujem miesta a fotografiám dávam nový význam (formálny aj ideový v ďalšej inštalácii), prípadne ich transformujem priamo v priestoroch. Niektoré fotografie procesuálne zanikajú, iné sa svetlom menia , ďalšie dotvárajú diváci. Dôležitá je fotografia ako taká, ale aj narábanie s ňou v dějinách, aj v súčasnosti.

During last years my creative work has been engaged in public spaces (institutions) and their being such as. Little by little, I turn my interest to the photography as a medium itself (analogue and digital); I take experiments with it and search its new forms. I am concerned with concrete questions of the occurrence and being of the photography during its digital period (work RE: Photography, 2014).

Photography medium (analogue) is for me very substantial one, and therefore nowadays I declare my opinion to questions of collective memory and I search concrete problems of use and misuse of photography in archives (Stasi, Štb, church). I treat found information at the daily newspapers or archives, I visit places and put the photography its new significance (formal and also ideological at the next installation), eventually, I transform them directly at the places. Some of the photos cease to exist in process, others are changed via light, next are done by their onlookers themselves. The photography itself is important but the treating with it during history and today is important, too.
