Plastic language in my sculpture is especially frugal. Interventions in volumes are minimal, but radical. All this leads to cleaning of expression means into several catching points - counterpoints. Fully impact of works is organized about contrast of volumes, space directions, materials and colours. My work is searching for harmony, based on opposition.

  • "...Krasimir Metodiev brings the idea of space through the exploitation of the concavity. The artist unfolds a whole and puts into motion his hidden, fertile part, an allusion to germination, fruit, kernel, to the vital core of nature. This form also has an interior that generates surfaces, forms, in a word, the ensemble."
     Pavel Șușară - art critic.
