ARTIST STATEMENT

About my work

My conception is about the possible conditions of the human in the society told by small stories. These situations are moments which are presented in a direct way. This is an ambivalent approach of a certain method of art and emotional reactions.
I also try to give a helping hand to the viewer to be able to accept and be capable receiving the artwork after understanding, agreeing and identifying himself/herself with the story of the picture.
It will be successful if the viewer recognizes the surplus information and he/she can associate and analyse this. So the recipient person can step into the possible worlds of the painting and emotionally, mentally, conceptually and intellectually reach this fictional level. Reality would change to  another possible world which is created by both the picture and the viewer. It is important that the artworks should suggest the possibility of the choosable worlds that is why I represent my figures in a simple, rigid and sometimes obtrusively direct way. If the visual experience causes a reaction, be it positive or negative, it will result many more new ways of thinking. The artwork is pushed through the conventional interpretation and the effection will become complete. I try to match my charactrers’ presentation to contains of the present integrating them into ironic situations with certain gestures.

Our days are filled with a micro-world formed by society in wich we move well or unwell, in a familiar or unfamiliar way.
One of my main subject is accepting our human being and identity. It is important for me that my figures in the pictures are friends and companions so I can create my artworks with a closer, more intimate and deeper approach. Real lives are put into artistic situations. Sometimes characters with special features and power (e.g. Superhero) meet ordinary, common and often petty bourgeois life. In other paintings the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
