ARTIST STATEMENT

My present works are serial paintings, which were inspired by albinism, and markings of animal skin and scales, which I started to study in 2014. In my art-works, I intend to create the skin of my paintings, by using and leaving diverse paint traces.
The traces appear one by one on the linen, connecting to each other as cells, with preserving the individual trace of the hand. The linen is not a surface for projection, as the new strata of the painting are continuously born, and cover the older ones. The works when ready might evoke the effect of a bunting surface, thus strive the subjective interpretation, and viewpoint of the onlooker, and his senses. They primarily reflect the organisms and phenomena present in nature.
