Unlimited
absolute darkness, approaching it via disappearance; boundaries of
representation – these are the problems I am focused on. Perception processes
triggered at the recipient by inability to recognize images. Activation of
undiscovered access pathways to the representations stored in memory.
I process reality using various means, matching reality with mental
images to merge into a new entirety. I am a watchful observer of what happens
when the boundaries between different media are shifted, of what happens when
moving at the point of their contact and I use the conflict and interference
which arise from the above.
Born in Opole, Poland. She studied at the Painting and Graphic Faculty of the Academy of Fine
Arts in Łódź, she received her PhD in photography from The Lodz Film School (in 2012).
Currently lives and works in Łódź; she holds the
position of assistant to Professor Grzegorz Przyborek in the Photography Studio in the Department of
Multimedia of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.
