ARTIST STATEMENT

The motive of a living museum and an artist as an intermediary are my main points of interest and an active spectator or an active image are the aim of my work.

I deal more generally with cultural appropriation, and gradually leaving the historicism and trying to focus on the interpretation of motifs and symbols associated with nature and anthropology. Each work requires another method of output. Everything comes from my research and then takes a place in a specific visual installation or action. I'm interested in a combination of social traits of an image or text with its historical stigmas and the current possibilities of reading these images. Experimentation with multiple forms of media is a part of my work process. The relationship between the “living image“ and its viewer is important for me.
