ARTIST STATEMENT

I use the power of the colors to express my thoughts and feelings in painting. Through the palette knife I create layers of colors to make the final output of my painting. I use only palette knife in painting because it gives me a challenge rather than painting in a paint brush. I always want to create paintings which will develop the thinking capacity & mind of the viewers. So far I have been succeeded in creating paintings with multiple views & thoughts. In Sri Lanka, where the Contemporary arts are not famous and no future in this field I try my own path to take my inborn talent and my self tutored Art style to the outer world and to show the world that there are people in the far corners of this Earth who need the attention & support to develop their inborn talents whom not yet recognized by anybody.
"Unlike the other Contemporary Artists the biggest challenge I meet in my creations is the time. I always wonder if I get enough time all that I want for my creations I will do miracles in this world"
