ARTIST STATEMENT

Author's work is known for sophisticated and distinctive stylized figurative work, but also for his intervals in which he change themes but also medium (painting, object, site-specific installation, animation, video art, sound art) while maintaining manuscript recognizability. The retrospective review of the works so far has raised questions not only about the themes and their benefits for artistic research, but also about their processing, disrupting subjective stereotypes in the process of creation, rediscovery and redefinition of the work and its deconstruction.

New technical implementation vs. classical techniques and their innovations are fully applied by the author in his work also on the Slovak experimental music scene. The author works in the BIOS and BRADA audiovisual bands. With his solo project Æ he debuted with the recording Æchilles, which also got to the final selection of the experimental section Radio_Head Awards 2015. In 2016 with the BIOS project they received the Radio_Head Awards nomination for the recording / album of the year in the Experimental Music category and in the same nomination he also got in 2017 with the project BRADA for the Neila album.

Tvorba autora je známa sofistikovanou a výraznou štylizovanou figurálnou tvorbou, ale tiež programovými intervalmi v ktorých mení témy, ale aj médium (maľba, objekt, site-specific inštalácia, animácia, video art, sound art), pričom si neustále udržuje rukopisnú rozpoznateľnosť. Retrospektívny prehľad doposiaľ vytvorených diel vyvoláva otázky nielen o témach a ich prínose pre umeleckú oblasť ale aj o ich spracovaní, narúšania subjektívnych stereotypov v procese tvorby, znovuobjavení a redefinície diela a jeho dekonštrukcie.

Nové technické realizácie vs. klasické postupy a ich inovácie autor naplno uplatňuje vo svojej tvorbe aj na slovenskej experimentálnej hudobnej scéne. Autor pôsobí v audiovizuálnom zoskupení BIOS a БРАДА. So svojim sólovým projektom Æ debutoval s nahrávkou Æchilles, ktorá sa dostala aj do finálneho výberu experimentálnej sekcie Radio_Head Awards 2015. V roku 2016 s projektom BIOS získali nomináciu Radio_Head Awards za nahrávku/album roka v kategórii Experimentálna hudba a do rovnakej nominácie sa dostal aj v roku 2017 s projektom БРАДА za album Neila.
