ARTIST STATEMENT

"...this kind of expression, because of its exaggeration, is not expression anymore, but it is a statue of itself." (György Ligeti)

I focus on different aspects and impacts of aggression, both individual and social, physical and indirect. My works based a several kinds of destruction from a radical rip to a slow decay. Stark coloured fragmented pieces, shredded edges representing wounds, they are also a victims of brutality and also becoming aggressors by their intimidating presence.
