ARTIST STATEMENT

As a Graphic Designer, I design with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to produce Posters, Logos, Icons, Banners, Branding, Book Covers, Business Cards, Flyers, Advertisements, Tattoo Designs, and T-Shirts. As an Illustrator, the primary mediums I create with are pencil, colored pencil, colored marker, charcoal, pastel, and pen & ink. Each illustration medium is unique because they demand a separate approach and application of my artistic talent, making versatility my primary asset. I am able to adopt different illustration styles as well, including realist, expressive, fantasy, abstract, cartoonist, and I am exceptionally adept with color and black and white. Blending graphic design and illustration allow virtually no limits for whatever my imagination is required to create, enabling me to design with unlimited creativity and visual imagination. With my technique, I offer greater flexibility, variability, and choices that assure maximum artistic achievement in every design for every client. Though each medium possesses its own tools and character, the true artist not only masters each one individually, but combines and blends each together to achieve the ultimate artistic vision. As a graphic design artist & illustrator, this artistic vision is my constant thought and primary goal. Each and every project that I become involved with receives my full passion and unconditional commitment. I am an artist by nature, but also a professional, business minded individual who is reasonable, practical, realistic, and responsible. The personal and professional values I am committed to include determination, teamwork, commitment, respect, and trust which I contribute on a daily basis with every single client.

BIOGRAPHY

My name is Anthony M. Grimaldi, a resident of New York City, a metropolis of successful and starving artists of every stripe and persuasion. I am content to be either, but never to be neither.
I promote and market myself with a ubiquitous online presence as JourneyManDesigns: Graphic Design Artist & Illustrator with the intent of acquiring a client base for freelance employment, assignments, and projects. The modern business world thrives and functions on global inter-connectivity and communication more than ever, and it will only increase. This is an area I daily explore and navigate with increasing expertise and knowledge, allowing me to discover and establish contact with a vast variety of potential clients and business opportunities to develop and grow my own personal business.
Using persistence and perseverance has inspired me as an independent freelancer and entrepreneur, globally seeking individuals, companies and opportunities to design and create.
