    Worms and Migration | 2018

A roadtrip with a bunch of canadian night crawlers “It was possible to collect more than 3000 worms in a successful night at that golf course” Interweaving story of a Hungarian migrant who left his country in 1956 and giant canadian night crawl- ers moved to Hungary for commercial purpose. A story based on my uncle’s first experiences in Canada in 1957. He worked as a wormpicker on golf courses during nights. This job is still existes. The giant cana- dian night crawlers are very valuable animals. Cosmetic industry and fishing sport fans buy them in a big amount. The series point out the different layers of migration using photography as a document and also as a creative storytelling language.
