    Edge Is a Surface | 2014 - 2015

Edge Is a Surface is the title of the wider series and at the same time, title of the show we created together with Katarina Hruskova for gallery OFF FORMAT. I have been interested in sculptural approach to photography and possible emotional resonance of material within photographic image for a long time. The series worked with imagery of domestic still-lifes, which are the natural place for my work, common parts of everyday life, ever-present at one's fingertips. I am interested to link the banality present in them with possible tension, insecurity, emotion.
