    For every high there is a low | 2016 - 2018

My ongoing project For every high there is a low (started 2016) is my commentary on contemporary triumphalism which I perceive on many levels of our society and life of individual, from competitive environment of London to the space of social media, where admission of weakness or failure on any level is unacceptable. I use imagery of monuments, which often served as tools of self-confirmation of power structures and tools of construction of the collective memory. I am interested in recycling of iconic monuments as archetypal representation of the power, potency, performance and success.
