The shape of human body is a frame for changes taking place in the surrounding. Although the sculptures seem empty, they are filled and defined by the nature, another sculptures or passing people, so they transform with every movement of the observer.

The series present/absent consists of performative actions and sculptures and builds on the Spaces series. In the performances, the focus from depicting the reach of a body shifts to taking up an entire space through movement and drawing. In the sculptures, the surrounding area becomes part of the composition.
