Paper Interventions | 2011
A return to analogue photographic methods. Photographed in Amsterdam using a 1970s era Canon SLR camera with 35mm Kodak film (160 Portra VC) that has now been discontinued. All photographs in the series of 5, have been hand-printed in the last remaining independent color darkroom in Amsterdam. The first photographs taken after moving to Amsterdam in 2010, a way to explore and get to the city while alluding to the legacy of Color-Field painting from Washington, DC, the city I left behind.
