  Mini-Flats | 2018

I continue developing my project “Blue Room” from 2017, where I worked with visual image of the flats. Minimised models come out of real shapes of flats, where I used to live and am living right now. I work with the measurements intuitively and by heart. Both these ways help to adjust the overall image of the flats. Some of the things are forgotten, some details disappear, some are accentuated. They have their own size, influenced by the possibilities of the material – porcelain. Mini-rooms join to create the whole flat, my whole personal space. They speak about the contrast of the intimate and public. How much and what we can show, what we want to show. What can we see in other people’s flats. What we share. The flats and thing around us define us, they speak of us, what we are and what we do and how we feel. Pokračujem v projekte nazvanom „Modrá izba“ od roku 2017, kde som spracovávala vizuálnu stránku pôdorysov bytov. Minimalizované modely vychádzajú z reálnych bytov, kde bývam a som bývala. Pracujem s mierkou intuitívne a spamäti. Obe tieto cesty mi pomáhajú adjustovať výsledný obraz bytov. Niektoré veci sú zabudnuté, niektoré detaily sa stratia, iné sú zdôraznené. Majú vlastnú veľkosť, ktorá vychádza aj z možností vybraného materiálu – porcelánu. Mini-izby sa skladajú do väčších celkov, bytov, môjho osobného priestoru. Hovoria o kontraste intímneho a verejného a ich prelínaní. Ako a čo ukazujeme, čo chceme ukázať. Čo zdieľame. Byty a objekty, ktorými sme obklopení nás definujú, hovoria o nás, kým sme, čo robíme a ako sa cítime.
