    Prologue | 2016 - 2017

The exhibition ’Prologue’ is my first solo exhibition. It took place at the Project Space of cARTc Non-profit Cultural Organization, Budapest, Hungary from February to April in 2017. The exhibition represented my latest works from the previous year, for example oil paintings, collages and concrete objects. My concept is to evoke a psychological state through natural elements and factures creating a lyrical atmosphere with metaphores and associations, and transmitting philosphical contents and general ideas about existencial issues. I’m mainly focusing on the examination of human psyché, morals and the complexity of existence. I turn my individual experiences and human emotions into a general interpretation of these complex meanings. The base of my artworks is originated from the same intellectual background but the different kind of the mediums that I use give a different perspective of a common narrative. The variety of mediums alters the function of our senses therefore it affects our concept of reality variously as well. My aim is to create synthesis between theoretical philosophical content and personal subjective world which is based on the practice of self-examination.
