    Polychromes | 2016

The series Polychrome Monochromes is on one hand approaching the basics of classic colour studies in form of geometric abstract compositions and on the other the process developed for my work results in a proposal for widening the spectrum of the industrial powder coating. The first step was the development of alternative use of an existing technology serving as the main coating process of metals. By modification of the basic mateial used in the industy - changing the size of the grain - I reached an effect so far unknown and unwanted in the traditional use. The colour sequences made for the show Melting Point are based on interference between homogenous colour and noise.
