    Ready Mades and Sculpture | 2016 - 2017

In this series, I chose toilet paper and medical gauze - items designed to be short-lived and disposable - which are then manipulated and reinforced to create a new surface. The materials’ physical constructs are altered, defying their function, but retaining their translucent quality. The meaning and physicality of these two objects are changed based on my attempt to actively understand the meaning of existence and loss.
