Removal of Old bridge / Demontáž Starého mosta | 2015
EN: Series "Removal of Old bridge" works with act of removing of Old bridge in Bratislava, Slovakia. This bridge was first built bridge across Danube river in Bratislava and destroyed in WW 2. After war it was repaired by Soviet army. In this stadium bridge stayed about 60 years. In years 2014 - 2016 it has been removed and new construction was built. In this series I work with removed pieces of bridge, materials and shapes of welded and cutted steel in painting ways. It is based on geometric abstraction, minimalism, but with relation with reality, with industrial iconography of today. / SK: Séria "Demontáž Starého mosta" pracuje s procesom demontovania Starého mosta v Bratislave. Tento most bol prvý postavený most cez rieku Dunaj v Bratislave a počas druhej svetovej vojny bol zničený. Po vojne bol opravený Sovietskou armádou. V tomto štádiu stál okolo 60 rokov. V rokoch 2014-2016 bol demontovaný a vymenený za novú konštrukciu. V tejto sérii pracujem s demontovanými kusmi tohto mostu, materiálmi a tvarmi odzváraného a odrezaného železa maliarskym spôsobom. Vychádza z jazyka geometrickej abstrakcie, minimalizmu, ale so súvislosťou s realitou, s industriálnou ikonografiou súčasnosti.
