Through observations of the public space I search for the extraordinary in the ordinary. The public space is a playground of the strange and wonderful where coincidences come together. These encouters give a new meaning to the surroundings they are in. What happens if I manipulate those encounters? In Deliberate Coincidences I examine the meaning of the surroundings I photograph. The identity of spaces are as variable as the objects that are placed within them. I question the identity of these places by changing the context. I reconstruct my images and examine the relationship between object and image. In these reconstructions I use the interaction between the reproductions of my encounters and the assembly of the images. By doing so, I try to recontextualize the existing images.
