This series appropriates the name given to the Japanese prints, the Ukiyo-e. The original topic of this artistic manifestation was urban life, portrayed as illustrations for books or shows posters and brothels, specifically the entertainment area of activities. So this name "floating" relates to a pleasant and ephemeral world, precisely because it was mass production of images that was in constant change and renewal, always revealing that existed more exciting and current. The choice of the "floating world" is related to a possible dislocated reality, short-sighted and selfish. The real world become secondary.
