    Contemporary Still Life | 2010 - 2013

The series „Contemporary Still Life“ reflects absurdism in reality. It was created very spontaneously, because absurdism can be found everywhere in our everyday life. The arrangements are not staged, the objects were exactly in these (or at least similar) positions in reality. For the artwork, they were removed from their original environment and placed into a different surrounding. This leads to an artificial world of its own, where the viewer‘s attention is focused on the essence of the image.
