Tell me more (in progress) | 2015

Tell Me More (Studio Talk), 4- channel video installation, 12', 2014, originally delegated performance I asked people who speak different mother languages to speak to each other in their own language, so that no one understands the languages of the other participants. I gave a topic and a setting of the conversation, but the rest was up to the participants. The video is a documentation of this unique experience of having a conversation without using a common spoken language. The topics vary from small talks and introduction to each others, through a conversation about work process (between artists and between writers, as well as between a mixed group), a small talk about the news, a studio visit and critique of current works, to talks about love, relationship and dead. The translation of the conversation is inserted as subtitles of the video.
